Invest in the Markets was started for the average investor… the person who has an interest in insetting, but may not have the education or the time to invest on their own.
I watched friends and family express their frustrations during the downturn of 2007-08, with many people losing 20%+ of their portfolios… and in some cases, they still have not recovered. I decided to share some alternative ideas… so I attempt to provide investment articles to educate and inspire readers to invest on their own.
Since this site was conceived in December 2009, I’ve received tremendous response. During the bull year of 2009, I was even or up on 91% of my public trade alerts. With only three break even trades, my largest loss was 6% with Agrium… a trade I later reentered resulting in a 53% gain (a nice recovery).
Although the twitter alerts were OK, at the end of 2010, several within this investment community requested a more consistent way of receiving these trading opportunities. Coupled with my belief that the average Weekend Investor should avoid the daily ups and downs of the markets, I’ve began a Weekly Newsletter. Now, it’s improved again…
